On Noticing...
Imagine if we truly noticed...
the shape of light,
the quiet sound of wind,
the emotion woven into ordinary moments.
Perhaps we would move more gently through the world.
Perhaps we would be kinder... to nature, and to one another 🫂
I’ve learned that noticing is a form of care.
It is also, in its own quiet way, an answer to the question of meaning.
To see the subtle shades of light, the openness of the sky, the beauty & persistence of flowers and landscape, reminds me that there is intention in the lives we live.
Some of these moments have been kept, returned to, and now offered in print, so they may be lived with slowly, and held just a little longer 🙃
